Foot Care Program
Foot Care includes soaking, massage, a clean pair of socks, shoes, and basic care from our volunteer nurses.
Hours: Wednesday, 9:30am-11:30am
Offered on Wednesday mornings as part of Morning Hospitality, our Foot Care program provides basic care to members of the community, many of whom are particularly vulnerable to foot pain, swelling, and discomfort due to long days spent on their feet and in the rain. It is an opportunity for practical care of feet, as well as an opportunity to build relationships in a safe and healthy environment.
Ways to Give
The Gift of Socks and Shoes
Every Wednesday we share this special service with our guests and they leave feeling cared for, healthier, and with a pair of new socks and shoes.
Ways to Volunteer
We are always seeking skilled volunteers to assist in our Foot Care Program. In particular, we try to find Registered Nurses or retired care specialists who have a medical background to meet the specific needs of our Foot Care guests.
